Enter your bag dimensions, pick your airline, and see instantly whether it qualifies as a carry-on, a personal item, or neither. The tool converts between inches and centimeters, estimates volume in liters and cubic inches, and compares each dimension against your airline's limits.
Compression cubes reduce the volume of what's packed inside them by 20–30%, which means your clothing takes up less space in the bag. If your bag is borderline because it bulges when overpacked, that volume reduction can bring it back within dimension limits. But cubes compress contents, not the bag itself — if your bag's empty frame already exceeds the airline limit, cubes won't shrink it to fit.
Height — Top to bottom, including any handles, wheels, or external pockets that stick out.
Width — Side to side at the widest point.
Depth — Front to back. This is the dimension most likely to fail when your bag is fully packed. Measure with the bag loaded, not empty.
Soft bags expand when packed. If your bag is borderline, pack it first and re-measure depth.
